My name is David Shamshoian. My story with photography and videography goes back to when I was a young’n making videos for bands I liked and silly short films driven by arcane humor. Next I found myself in LA working various roles in the film/TV/commercial world, mostly production assisting and set building. I then began dabbling in still photography while continuing to gain traction with my video career and have since married the two in my professional repertoire. 

What stands out to me most and why I continue to shoot, direct, and produce is the endless possibilities and variables involved in planning, capturing, and editing. It’s a complex art that one can only ever keep learning and evolving in. 

Over the last few years, I’ve spread my producer/director wings, giving me an overarching view of productions and all the intricacies involved, such as lighting, makeup, audio, and all the unique talents of everyone on set. This allows me to unlock the full potential of storytelling and to fulfill all the messaging and artistic needs of my clients.
